For many people, Stew Leonards is an enigma. A grocery store chain located predominantly in Connecticut, many states have yet to be exposed to this wonderful gem. Despite that, Stew Leonards is often ranked as one of the one hundred best companies to work for in America, and what's more, is definitely one of the best to shop in.

Walking through the aisles, you are greeted by animatronic performers that will play musical instruments and sing songs. What's more, there are further acrobats and interactive items around the grocery store for a great time. All of these features make the grocery store a great place to bring your kids, making shopping a lot less painful.

Walking through the grocery store on Friday afternoons, I get lunch predominantly by sampling the various options available. In one trip, they had muffins, apple cider donuts, home made potato chips, various cheeses, salad, fresh fruit, soup and more available to try. Every item tastes delicious and gives you a good idea of what to expect if you're looking to try new items and expand your cooking at home.
